Bootylicious Reviews:
I Think You CAN Handle This! 5 Star Review
2003-08-14 - I like Destiny's Child in general but the last thing I
expected to hear from these very talented ladies was three
funky divas."Bootylicious" is a true modern funk classic with
a great beat,some groovy loops and a chunking,dinasaur funky
guitar rhythm-plus Beyonce' and company's fantastic growling
vocals! From what I hear their accompanying "Survivor" album is
more modern R&B in nature but "Bootylicious" COOKS and really
deserves an album based primarily on THIS sound!A fantastic
modern R&B/funk single!

Run! Run as far away as you can 1 Star Review
2002-06-13 - This vomit inducing song justifies why I despise so much of todays R&B so much. It's this gender-bashing, emotionally void, obnoxious, barrel clicking so called music that makes me hate so much of todays R&B so much. To all true music lovers: Stay STAY far away from this single as you possibly can. There is no content in Destinys Childs music. All the reason they are here is just for the money. And I am appalled at what R&B has sunk to. The song contains some guitar sample from a Stevie Nicks song from 20 odd years ago but the name eludes me at the moment. But the sampling is a travesty to what music really is. I pray that no talentless R&B rap acts sample favorite songs of mines like Peter Gabriels Sledgehammer or Phil Collins Another Day In Paradise because most samplings are a disgrace to the original songs. DC should just go away and leave us music lovers alone because what they make isn't true girl power at all. In fact what I would say to womens rights activists is that what DC, Lil Kim and Britney put out is more degrading to women than what Eminem or Ja Rule could ever put out. But if you are going to buy something intelligent, well-craft or just plain worthy of hearing, bo and buy Oleta Adams All The Love or Brenda Russells 2000 release Paris Rain or even her old material. Whatever you do though don't fall for the same thing that thousands of brainless TRL fools do and don't put your hard earned cash into Beyonces pocket.

This song is too bootylicious 5 Star Review
2001-09-11 - I've loved Destiny's Child ever since Bills Bills Bills. And its no surprise that these ladies are the biggest girl band in the world at the moment. Bootylicious is the 3rd single to be lifted off the tiple platinum 'Survivor'.

Its one of those dance numbers where you are too weak to resist and have to get up and dance. If you like Destiny's Child - this is the song to you. With mad dance routines, and bizare lyrics ie 'I don't think your ready for this jelly',
This is the CD for you.

Pop music to be proud of 5 Star Review
2001-08-30 - If you're still holding back, it's okay to admit it. Everybody likes Destiny's Child. And, frankly, there ain't nothing wrong with that. They pair up fun, sing-along lyrics and choruses with stop-go synth beats that never fail to be fun.
"Bootylicious" is a great example. Starting with the Stevie Nicks sample (anybody who can create dancefloor R&B out of Stevie Nicks is okay by me!) and moving into an irresistible beat, it's a great pop song. Plus, as a bonus, the Richard "Humpty" Vission mix is really good. I was skeptical, having purchased his music before and doubting that the hard house sound would mesh with Destiny's Child, but it works. "Bootylicious" may not be quite as good as "Independent Woman Pt. 1", but it beats "Survivor" and is still a great song.

Ideal for some BOOTY action 4 Star Review
2001-08-11 - Do I need to say more? Love the song, but the remix of the song included in this single not much, that's why I gave it a 4 star rating, but I absolutely recommend it.
