The Very Best of Diana Krall Reviews:
The Very Best of Diana Krall
2009-11-18 - The title says it all as it is the very best, love every track, her unique smooth voice is so easy to listen to and touches the senses and takes me on a journey of pure delight.
Far Audio Quality
2009-09-26 - The audio quality on this compilation is far from good. I own several CD's compiled here and the quality for the individuals is much better than the result in this compilation. The Vinyl version has the same problem. The complete compilation sounds blurry compared with individual CD's.
fantastic album
2009-08-19 - We bought this album for a recent road trip, and have listened to it several times. Absolutely love it! It really is the "best of."
Diana Krall
2009-07-31 - This is an awesome CD - If you like smooth jazz - you will love this CD
NICE
2009-07-06 - Although I wish Diana would have included "Cry Me a River", and a few of her other string included ballads, (over some of the more "swing" like stuff), the CD part of this 2-disc set is pretty good, over all.
I'd have given it four stars, but since it includes a pretty good DVD as well, (both at a good price), I'd have to rate the set a "five".
Although the DVD starts with a couple of music videos, I really like the live-to-tape/video performances, (in what appears to be perhaps Diana's sun room, spare room, foyer, or what have you), with Diana's usual, strangely charming, almost lethargic, yet genuinely heartfelt manner and sincere style.
Thank goodness "Popsicle Toes" wasn't on it! I wouldn't have bought it!
