WHAT WAS A SO-SO RELEASE ON VINYL IS NOW AN AWESOME RELEASE ON COMPACT DISC!!!
2009-02-15 - The original Vinyl release only had 8 (Eight) Tracks! Not to mention it was her last for Motown, so Motown threw in some Odds 'n' Ends/Leftover tracks just to complete the album for release, or should I say for a RUSH RELEASE...Don't forget she was just coming off a Platinum Billboard #1 Hit Single "Endless Love" with Lionel Richie, so they (Motown) needed something on the streets fast!. By the time this had hit the streets, it was already annouced that she (Diana) had signed with RCA Records, so the "To Love Again" album was quickly forgotten....
Now 20+ years later this album resurfaces as a well put together Compact Disc with 12 Bonus Tracks to boot! Now it has a whole new life!!! Includes Billboard Charted #1 Hit Singles: "Touch Me In The Morning" presented here in an Extended Version!, and "Theme From Mahogany", Plus Billboard Charted Hits: "I Thought It Took A Little Time" (#47), "It's My Turn" #(9), and "One More Chance" (#54). One of the standout Unreleased Tracks is: "Share Some Love". Get your Diana fix, and go out and buy this....NOW!!!
To Love Again...and again...and again!
2008-04-19 - Let's begin with the unbelievable cover art. Motown often lavished love and care on their biggest star, and she never looked better than here. The collection is a standing testiment to the magic that can come from lining up the perfect performer/producer team. It addition to previously released gems like "Touch Me In The Morning" and "Do You Know Where You're Going To", Ross & Masser cut four new sides for this album, and they're all masterpieces, with "It's My Turn" and "One More Chance" standing among Diana's best ballad performances. The bonus tracks included here are also classics, including the hard-to-find "Come In From The Rain" and "Too Shy To Say" from Diana's 1977 "Baby It's Me" album (produced by Richard Perry), and the ultra rare duet with Lionel Richie "Dreaming Of You" (which was featured on the "Endless Love" soundtrack). Pick the CD up, and remember the lady who taught a generation of female singers how to put a power ballad together.
ONE OF ROSS' BEST
2007-11-07 - IT'S A GREAT ROSS COMPILATION, ONE OF MY ALL-TIME FAVORITES IT'S "NEVER SAY I DON'T LOVE YOU", JUST LISTEN TO IT.
A gem by an incredibly talented singer
2007-01-29 - Everybody has all types of words for Diana Ross. Diva, and all types of words. Let me clear it up right now. She is a phenomenal singer. As a fan of her music, ( I am only 24 years old), I can honestly say that she is a gifted singer. I also love her personality. If she is a diva, she has every right to be. The album clearly personifies her place in music. Songs like Love Me, Do You Know where You're Going to and To Love Again, have a special place in my heart, especially Endless Love. She is still doing her thing at 62 years old. Diana, I love you, and keep blessing us with your beautiful songbird voice.
