One Live Night Reviews: solid 4! Dokkens best 2006-12-17 - I love this cd. the atmosphere is great and the Acoustic/Electric combo is really cool. These songs are stripped down, yet sound better. Especially "Just Got Luck" and "The Maze" which are great! 80's icons are in career form here. must have.
Awesome Vocals 2005-11-01 - I, too, grew up in the 80's, and have never grown tired of some of the great music that was created then. I am also an avid collector of 80's rock done acoustically.
I have to say, that even though it is not entirely acoustic, this is definitely one of the better acoustic recordings I've ever heard. The songs have been tweaked, some interesting acoustic intro's... And the vocals are intense. There is no doubt as to the talent of these four gentlemen known as Dokken.
The only thing that comes close is some acoustic performances I've heard of Def Leppard...
GREAT MEMORIES FOR THIS GENERATION " X" 2005-09-14 - I am a child/teenager of the 1980s and liked Dokken. I am not disappointed with this unplugged version. I will admit listening more to the familiar songs than those written in the 1990's. I can't believe it's been about 20 years since they were at that peak!!!!! I'm getting older!!!!!
Awesome Show & Stage Set 2004-12-01 - Dokken is at their best in this awesome live acoustic concert. This is a must for all Dokken fans. As a true fan I loved seeing them play with their original guitarist on George Lynch. I've seen Dokken 8 times over the years and I've seen them with all of their replacement guitarists as well as Lynch. The last time was at the Trocadero in Philly in 2004. Rock With The Dok At The Troc! Yeah! Dokken is always awesome to see live no matter who's on the lead guitar that night. This live video is no exception. Buy this video... Now!
