2009-12-05 - i already had a copy of "harrard experiment" and it is still a very good movie. i remember seeing "the harrard summer" when it first came out and so when i saw that these two movies were together, i rushed to buy it. well, the mind must be the first thing to go as you get older because "love all summer(harrard summer) was not what i remembered it to be. it was worse.buy the film for the harrard experiment and you won't be dissapointed.

2009-08-11 - Previously (and currently) available in a bowdlerized version, this one is uncut. Love All Summer is a retitling of Harrad Summer. Both films are full screen and have rather poor visual quality, but not as bad as the TV versions on other disks. Both films are typical 70's exploitation films - a thin story that leads to a fair bit of youthful nudity. What's atypical, I suppose, are the number of name actors, especially in the less-well-known sequel, which seems to have higher production values. Amusing to see Don Johnson at the start of his career. Harrad Experiment is the more erotic of the two, and was considered rather titillating in its day, but its day has long waned. It's a sad, weird relic of its time, which is what makes it interesting. 4 stars only because this version is intact.
Good version of hard-to-find video
2009-03-03 - These two movies (especially "Harrad Experiment") are very hard to find. While not up to the standard of today's DVDs, the quality is MUCH better than the cheap VHS to DVD copies you find all too often these days. I highly recommend this DVD to collectors of this genre.
