Editorial Review:
Don Johnson plays Ben Tyson, a brilliant corporate executive and family man who finds his world threatened when he is accused of participating in a hospital massacre that occurred 30 years earlier, when he was an Army lieutenant during the Vietnam War.
Word of Honor Reviews:
Thank you.
2009-05-21 - Thank you for shipping so quickly.
It was hard to find and you had it for me.
Hope to buy from you again in the future.
Thank you again.
A GREAT MOVIE!!!!
2008-09-28 - Want to see Don Johnson at his very best? Try and find him in "Word Of Honor".. his acting is beyond words.. I was never a Don Johnson fan until I watched that show! The feelings Don Johnson relayed in that movie were true and the depth of his acting skills combined with this movie brought out the true emotions of many Vietnam Vets. You MUST see him in "Word Of Honor" Dead-Bang was another tribute to his acting abilities. He was excellent in that movie as well and is worth buying! Get them both!!!! You will not regret it....
'NAM ACCURACY PLUS MARITAL AND SON PLOT
2008-07-29 - Outstanding acting and scenes from 'Nam that would likely make a baby boomer like me cry. Double plot with "Nam guilt for 30 years vets have to live with plus man trying to keep family together.
There are 58,000 names on the 'Nam wall but thousands more just could not live with it and went crazy or said "hell with it" and became skid row type drunks and pills or OD'd or picked out there tree or hung or shot gunned themselves. I salute all past and current vets. College kids didn't spit on them though. Highly recommended if you are the rare vet who wants reminded of the trip to the jungle and back to the world.
Good movie better book
2007-05-06 - The movie doesn't remain true to the book [they seldom do] I enjoyed both.
Goods received - not compatible in United Kingdom
2006-11-09 - The DVD I received was not playable in the United Kingdom - it needed to be series 2 not 1 or whatever official designation is given to recordings.
I returned it to Amazon, received a credit for the cost of the DVD, but did NOT receive a credit for the postage incurred paid for from Amazon, to me.
ALTOGETHER A MOST UNSATISFACTORY TRANSACTION. YOU DID NOT EVEN OFFER TO REPLACE THE DVD WITH ONE THAT IS PLAYABLE IN THE UK.
