What Were Once Vices Are Now Habits Reviews:
Do not pass on this doobie 5 Star Review
2009-10-28 - Let me start with the packaging. A mini album cover, sleeve, and plastic "record" cover, all exactly like the original album right down to the advertising on the sleeve. These guy's don't mess around. As for the music, another great foray into the kind of sunshine pop/guitar rock the Doobies excelled at. For me anyway, one of the best. Certainly better than later albums with Michael McDonald, who took over the band, and ran it aground, musically anyway.

The Doobies--They don't make bands like they used to ! 5 Star Review
2009-09-06 - I got this album ( oops, disc...I'm REALLY dating myself...I KNOW !) This has to be my top 1 or 2 top fav of the Doobies. "Another Park Another Sunday" I think is prob the #1 or #2 fav song of the Doobies. I started playing drums when I was 9, you listen to me on a kit and its EASY to tell my major influences were. "Little" John Hartman, Keith Knudsen and Michael Hossack of The Doobies. Awesome percussion section to round out an awesome band. I think over the years I saw The Doobies maybe 10 or 11 times...MY FAVORITE BAND, HANDS DOWN.

Vices and Habits 5 Star Review
2009-06-01 - This has long been one of my Favorite Doobie Albums. CD quality is excellent. Songs on this are all very good, I especially love "Road Angel" for the guitar work.

Still Rockin and Rollin 5 Star Review
2008-10-20 - These guys are just the best. Southern rock with a twist of R&B soul. These song all have such a groove and if you grew up in the 60's and 70's you will really enjoy this album.

Impressive follow up.... 4 Star Review
2008-05-16 - to the perfect "Captain and Me" album. The Doobies were on a roll during this period, cranking out great tunes with regularity. While this one isn't quite as strong as "Captain..." it is still a very close second for me. The song everyone remembers from this album is of course the overplayed(but a great song nonetheless) "Black Water". My favorites here are "Another Park, Another Sunday", "Eyes of Silver" and the opening track "Song To See You Through". The Doobies were undergoing a transition around this time, about to add personnel in the person of the great Jeff "Skunk" Baxter of Steely Dan fame (he is in evidence on this album). This album is a must have for Doobies fans.Four and a half stars.
