"Rhyme + Reason" Soundtrack
2005-07-16 - The soundtrack to Peter Spirer's compelling documentary, "Rhyme & Reason" makes a worthwhile companion piece to the film. While many of the artists on the soundtrack may not be as well known to today's music crowd, the music contained within this album is truly something special. Mack 10's collaboration with Tha Dogg Pound on "Nothin' But The Cavi Hit" is an excellent introduction to the album with Kurupt ripping the mic apart behind a hard beat courtesy of Daz. Likewise, Busta's energy on "Wild Hot" guest starring A Tribe Called Quest is absolutely bonkers. "Uni-4-orm" featuring Canibus, Ras Kass, and Heltah Skeltah is probably my favorite song on the soundtrack as future Horsemen partners, Ras and Canibus just kill it. KRS-One's "Bring It Back" is another banger with Kris bring his usual charisma to the table. Also worth checking out are E-40's "Every Year" and The RZA's "Tragedy". Master P's "Is There Heaven 4 A Gangsta?" is one of the few misses as P drops some rather lackluster rhymes over an obnoxious chorus. It proves to be the "pothole in the road" in an otherwise smooth ride of entertaining 90's rap anthems.

Rhyme & Reason
2004-12-08 - This album seems to have almost everyone. The tracks might of not made the local radio stations but the album was nice. It has a great blend of east and west coast styles. I'm just amazed this one didn't pop off as well as it should of. Pick it up if you get the chance.
A must for rap addicts
1998-12-12 - This album combines the best of east/west coast with artists such as RZA, MC Eight, KRS-ONE Busta Rhymes, E40, ect. While a couple tracks are weak, most are bangin, such as Tragedy and Represent. Basically, this is a great compilation album that is worth getting!
