Editorial Review:
Arranged for Guitar Tablature & Standard Notation With Lyrics. The Long Island-based contemporary heavy metal band, Dream Theater, is known for delivering sharp-edged music. This album-matching folio to Dream Theater’s latest release contains guitar tab transcriptions of all the songs from the album, including note-for-note transcriptions of all of John Petrucci’s virtuoso guitar parts and a beautiful art section featuring the surrealistic art of Jerry Uelsmann. Fans have made Dream Theater guitar songbooks some of the biggest selling tab books in history, so make sure to have plenty in stock! Titles are: As I Am * This Dying Soul * Endless Sacrifice * Honor Thy Father * Vacant * Stream of Consciousness * In the Name of God.

Good Job
2008-03-25 - I'm an educated bass player. I started playing 20 years ago so, from my experience, I can say that (apart form the tabs which I don't read at all), this book entirely serves its purpose: It's a compilation of the extraordinary work of Dream Theater. Is there anything left to say?
Great for any guitar player...
2006-11-03 - This is a must have for any DT fan that plays guitar. Whether or not you're capable of playing Petrucci solos (most aren't), the tab book is extremely useful for understanding the complexity and genius of John Petrucci. i highly recommend this product for guitar players or for people who enjoy understanding HOW things or organized/played.
Dream Theater Train of Thought guitar book
2005-08-06 - Im loving it! I am using it constantly to learn the songs.. hopefully I'll have them memorized soon :) I recommend this book to anyone considering buying it
Not perfect..but a very good reference
2004-11-09 - If you've been playing guitar for 15 years, you should be able to figure it out yourself anyway. But besides that, the tab has never been perfect, but that's why you have ears, to hear if there's a mistake and correct it. Also, I have to mention that while the tab isn't perfect, the sheet music part of the book is. So if you know how to read music, then you don't need the tab.
