Best Laid Plans: Music from the Motion Picture Soundtrack Reviews:
Excellent soundtrack 5 Star Review
2009-10-22 - This cd is great. One of my favorites right now. Craig Armstrongr and Nenah Cherry make it top notch. This is a very moving and involving cd. Fantastic for relaxing, thinking and just hanging out. I love it.

Armstrong's next classic score 5 Star Review
1999-08-31 - Massive Attack member Craig Armstrong's second score is a haunting contrast to his brilliant companion piece for "Plunkett and MacClaine." Strikingly different in it's miniminalist form from his score to Jake Scott's action-comedy, this is strictly, haunting, and evocative noir mood music. Opening track Lissa is followed up by Neneh Cherry's new track "Twisted Mess." Lissa is one to repeat until it finally grows on you and when it does it's addictive. Armstrong's score is a somber masterpiece and is well aided by cuts from Massive Attack, Mazzy Star, and two throwaways by Gomez and Eagle-Eye Cherry that unfortunately break the mood. However, Armstrong's "Lissa montage" and "End Credits" close the soundtrack on a strong note.
