Ocean Rain Reviews:
Silly Rabbits! 3 Star Review
2009-11-12 - The singers an egomaniac and the band are just OK. Actually it's a pretty good record, their best, BUT IT AND THE BAND AS A WHOLE ARE ABOUT HALF AS GOOD AS THE UK BAND FELT. FELT IS THE TRUE GENIUS OF BRITISH 80's PSYCHEDELIC ROCK!!!

If you don't own this you should 5 Star Review
2008-01-18 - This the quintessential 1980's album. Echo and the Bunnymen at the peak of their musical career...

Great voice 5 Star Review
2008-01-04 - The lead singer's voice is amazing. The Killing Moon has to be a classic. There is nothing wrong with that song. I get chills just thinking about it! I heard a cut on the radio and his voice just floored me. I thought who is this guy? Little did I know this guy has been around for quite awhile and a lot of people know how talented he is. I know folks are into buying just a single song as a download, but this album is worth knowing and he's worth supporting.

A Truly Underrated Band at the Top of their Form 5 Star Review
2007-08-29 - WOW, that is the best description I can come up with when describing this album. No weak cuts and so many strong ones. Most people probably were drawn to this album because of the song "Killing Moon," a great song for sure, but in my opinion, not close to being the best song on the album. There is a haunting feel to this album, that like many other Echo albums, defies categorization. What were Echo and the Bunnymen? Alternative, Pop, Post-Punk, Rock, Techno, All of the Above? Not sure, but they sure were great.

The best album ever made ... 5 Star Review
2007-05-25 - well that's what Mac said when this originally came out. I am not sure if that is true but it is certainly their masterpiece. It doesn't get any better than this for the Bunnymen. This is the place to start if you are a newcomer to them, without a doubt. All their albums have their moments but this is as good as a greatest hits, every track a classic. I have had this record on vinyl since it came out and just recently got it on CD, the original had past it's prime so it's was time for a new copy and I was very happy to find that the current version is so special, it has all the bells and whistles and a very nice booklet describing this project. A must have for anyone who loves this under rated band. Check out the track "thorn of crowns" and Will Sergeant's guitar on this. The best it can be!
