    Description of Creepshow (Keepcase):
Inspired by the controversial E.C. Comics of the 1950s--which also provided the title and inspiration for the popular Tales from the Crypt TV series--director George Romero and screenwriter Stephen King serve up five delightfully frightful stories. Utilizing comic-book panels, animated segues, and exaggerated lighting and camera angles, Romero and cinematographer Michael Gornick come very close to replicating a horror comic in film format. The results mix fine acting with the morbid sense of humor and irony that made the E.C. books so popular in their heyday. Actors such as Leslie Nielsen, Hal Holbrook, Ted Danson, Adrienne Barbeau, Ed Harris, E.G. Marshall, and even King appear in the stories, which include tales of a sinister father's day celebration, a mysterious meteor, seaweed-draped zombies, a monster in a crate, and a cockroach-phobic millionaire. Fiendishly fun fare from one of horror's most famous directors. --Bryan Reesman

    Creepshow (Keepcase) Reviews:
    Garbage. 1 Star Review
2009-12-15 - The old EC Comics were filled with gruesome tales, it is true, but they usually contained at least the kernel of a brilliant ida and were pulled off with excellent writing, artwork, and dialogue. What we have with Creepshow The Movie is absolutely the lamest, juvenile, and superficial adaptation of that genuine artistry into an atrocity of a film. It's as though Romeo and King think that by employing simple gimmicky devices they can get away with absolutely horrid acting and utterly debauched violence. It's a sad, depressing film that defames the excellent work of the original EC artists. Nothing more to say.

CREEPSHOW IS WICKED!!! 5 Star Review
2009-12-08 - I first seen Creep show when my parents took me to a video rental store back in the days when VHS were all the rage. I remember the video store having them huge floor TV's and I remember the scene of the guy buried in the sand at the beach pleading for help. I also remember seeing the movie cover of Ghoulies. The little green goblin crawling out of the toilet hehehe.
Creepshow is one of the great classic horror movies that got me into horror. It is timeless even today.
If you are a horror collector you mos def need to add this to your horror collection.
This movie is perfect for parties, sleep overs, in your college dorm, and even camp outs.
If you are a teen who loves horror please watch this movie!!!!

    A classic on Blu-Ray 4 Star Review
2009-11-15 - All I can say is that Creepshow is a classic and got it's due on Blu-Ray.
The picture was great for a 25 plus year old film, and I hope that Blu-Ray keeps releasing them.

Great Movie But No Blu-ray Extras 4 Star Review
2009-11-07 - I've always been a fan of the original Creepshow movie. Classic scares with a wicked sense of humor and some great star power. The sfx are lodged in the '80s but were no means cheesy for the time period. The movie looks great in hi-def but I would liked to have seen a few more extras beyond the theatrical trailer. If you are a fan of the film or enjoy a fun scare then this film is for you.

My favorite horror movie, but could've been a better blu ray 4 Star Review
2009-10-11 - I love Creepshow, it's my favorite horror movie, but I was disappointed there weren't more extras in the blu ray, since there weren't any real extras on the DVD from 10 years ago. You'd think with blu ray's capacity they'd include much more extras than the DVD, but it didn't happen, so that's the only reason I didn't give this five stars. The movie itself is awesome, even better in high def than on the old DVD.
