2009 sophomore album from the American Idol (Season 5) favorite. The album follows Yamin's 2007 gold debut Elliott Yamin, which is the highest Independent debut by a new artist in the history of the Billboard chart (#1 on the Independent Album chart, #2 on the R&B chart and #3 on the Top 200 chart). The new album spotlights a number of co-writes by Yamin, as well as writing and production by Johnta Austin, Stargate, Jermaine Dupri, Harvey Mason Jr., Eman, Midi Mafia and JR Rotem, among others.

Much Better Than the First CD 
2009-11-30 - I love Elliott Yamin's voice and think he is an amazing talent. I didn't really like his first CD that much. It was a huge disappointment to me. It was OK, but not that great, in my opinion.
However, this new CD is fantastic. When I first listened to the tracks on Amazon, it sounded much more promising. That turned out to be exactly correct. Almost every track is memorable and enjoyable. I think it is 100 times better than the first CD. The songs are much more varied and show off many types of songs he can sing well. I am very glad I bought this CD. I am not sure which songs I like the best (there are so many), but my favorites are probably, "Know Better", "You", "Can't Keep on Loving You", "Don't be Afraid", "Apart from Me", "How do I Know", "This Step Alone", and "Someday".
Elliott does it again
2009-10-04 - I couldn't wait for the next Elliott Yamin CD for so long and when I stumbled upon fight for love, I was so excited. I guess it hasn't done as well because it seems to be for lack of promotion. This CD starts off where his first CD left off. All the songs are great and Elliott's touch is clearly on all the songs he co-wrote. The song he sings for his mom is very touching and excellent. You will not be disappointed in this CD from start to finish.
A wonderful buy
2009-09-21 - Another one of the "must have" for me. Liked the album a lot. I believe Elliott is largely underestimated right now, but will become a truly renowned artist. The seller is wonderful - incredibly fast shipping, and such a bargain price for the disk that looked brand new (sold as "like new"). Way to buy music.
Elliott Yamin - an unsung talent! 
2009-09-10 - This is the second album by the American Idol finalist Elliott Yamin.
It is melodic, multi-layered and beautifully sung by the talented Yamin. He is the sort of artist that deserves to be winning Grammies but somehow he has not really broken through to the "big time". Blue eyed soul of the most soulful kind. Superb.
Great singing
