Best Duo 5 Star Review
2004-11-03 - What a great video. The song is a great new twist to Elton's old song. They are perfect together. Anxiously waiting for a new duet! Perhaps, "I got you babe"?

Remix 3 Star Review
2003-12-29 - For Elton John, he seemed to be back in the fastlane in the 90's, after serious battles he had to face for himself and his personal life. When he was revived, his music was also welcomed back with love. Ironically, I wonder about the same when his music is remixed. With the remix of Don't Go Breaking My Heart, with RuPaul, it seemed alright, but not anything that should be raved about from Elton John. Although the chemistry is fair, it just can't beat the original version type-casted with Kiki Dee in 1976. If you're a fan of Elton John's dance versions of his songs, go try to find his 1993 record Duets, which this is featured on. If not, the original is always best.

Uh, WHAT? 4 Star Review
2001-07-11 - It "presents a poor image of Elton's gay character?" How, exactly? This is a fun, dance version of the classic duet with Kiki Dee. Elton has always been flamboyant in his dress and who better to do a flamboyant song and video with than RuPaul? When you're reviewing art, perhaps your personal, political feelings should be set aside unless the artist is being overtly political, which Elton is surely not in this case (of course, the fact that RuPaul is a major star is the best political statement EVER!).

A Perversion of the Kiki Dee Love Song 1 Star Review
1999-08-23 - This maxi-single CD represents a rather undermining of the initial song presented by Kiki Dee and Elton John in the 70s. It clearly takes away from the initial work and presents a poor image of Elton's gay character.
