Turn the Light Out When You Leave, Pt. 1 Reviews:
Have we gotten to Nashville yet? 5 Star Review
2005-05-13 - Contrary to others' opinions,Mr.Elton delivers in genres way beyond pop and rock.Just listen to Are You Ready for love where he offers he a trully Philly sound R & B rendition. In the case of TURN OUT...,one of the best tracks on his latest CD,EJ leaves us thinking a long road trip from Tennessee to North Florida.Present are the humidity, the imminent leaving of a lover and the pleading yet graceful lover on the other side of the equation.

Best Song from Peachtree Road 5 Star Review
2005-04-07 - This is Elton at his best. It reminds me of his early seventies records so much that if I close my eyes just right I could swear the song fits perfectly into Tumbleweed Connection. I have been listening to this song since October, right after purchasing Peachtree Road. I don't love the rest of the CD as much, unfortunately.

The Lights Are Still On 4 Star Review
2005-04-04 - For somebody like Elton John, he has halways had some surprising songs that really came out of nowhere. That is where his latest single lies within. His latest, Turn The Light Out When You Leave, the second single from his 2004 album Peachtree Road, has more of a Southern Country-Pop kind of vibe beneath the track. The song is one of the better tracks from the record that really has a lot of meaning inside, than most of Peachtree Road itself. While so many artists keep letting the music oversaturate itself with image over substance, Elton John really still keeps on putting out so many great songs.

Song: B+
