Not Quite.
2003-03-22 - The album is a great bargain, price wise. "What's New Pussycat" alone is reason to buy it. Throw in "Green Green Grass of Home", "Thunderball", "Promise Her Anything", and "Release Me", and you've got your money's worth. But how?, how do you NOT include "Bicyclettes de Belsize",and "After the Lovin"?
It coulda been a contenda.

A great intro to 2 of the best!
2000-05-02 - This CD/Album was my personal introduction to Englebert Humperdinck. I bought it cheap and out of curiousity:It turned out to be one of my favorites! While already being familiar with Tom Jones, I took a stab at Englebert and was blown away! Tom Jones has better Best of.. titles, so to me this is purely Englebert at his best.

1999-09-10 - What incredible voices, real men in vocals powerful yet so gentle!!!

Two great voices on one disc
1999-06-30 - These two gents have a couple of the greatest voices ever to sing a song. It is true that the selections on this disc are unusual(and not their greatest hits, actually), but believe me, they are brilliant. Probably the two best on this disc would be Tom Jones' version of Burt Bachrach's "Promise Her Anything," and Englebert Humperdinck's version of "Yours Until Tomorrow." Anyhow, those of you who are already fans of these two men will be pleased by the disc, and those who aren't fans may very well be converted after listening to this relatively low cost record.

1998-05-14 - One of the better "Best Of" albums in recent years. Thankfully lounge music is making such a strong comeback!
