Editorial Review:
Updated Version of the Hit Single from the Little Rock Based Band's 2003 Debut Full Length CD 'fallen'. This Song is Prominently Featured in the Film and Soundtrack of the Motion Picture "Daredevil", Starring Ben Affleck. Amy Lee's Powerful Voice Juxtaposes Clearly in Front Guest Singer Paul Mccoy's (Of 12 Stones) Gruffness.
Bring Me to Life Reviews:
Love this song!
2009-07-05 - This CD single of their most popular song is great! Has the video on it with the edit with extra pauses. The Bliss mix removes the male vocalists tracks. And the real reason for the completist to get it is the unreleased track "Farther Away" which was released later on their live album. This is the original studio version which appeared on some foreign releases of their first album as a bonus track. Too bad they didn't include anything like a dance remix or an extended cut.
Bring me to life single
2009-05-04 - Great Single. Comes with Bring Me to Life, Farther Away and Bring Me to life Bliss Mix which is the same as the regular song but without the guy singing, just Amy. Farther Away is an ok song, though I wouldn't listen to it if it wasn't Evanescence. Overall the single is great and I recommend it to every Evanescence fan. Go Evanescence!
Farther Away
2009-02-24 - Bring Me to Life is a good single and this CD comes with a nice remix. But the real reason to get the CD is to get the b-side Farther Away which was a bonus track on Fallen only in Japan and you can also own a copy of it live on Anywhere But Home. It's an excellent rock song and Amy's vocals are amazing.
Shut Up & Let Amy Sing!!!!!
2006-08-20 - Bring Me to Life is a very good song that could be a great song if it weren't for Paul McCoy's half-witted, grunting vocals (and I use the latter term very loosely) that are every bit as laughable as Gary Glitter's goofy rock chants. Amy Lee is an incredible talent and should insist upon singing every single word in this band!!
Without Paul McCoy! Hurray!
2003-09-12 - This is a great CD for one reason, Bring me to Life (Bliss Mix). This version of the song is the way it should be, without the vocal stylings (or lack thereof) of Paul McCoy from 12 Stones. I realize a lot people out there probably enjoy the radio/album version, and I have no problem with that.
The video for the song is also featured on this disc. It's a little over dramatic, but I still enjoy watching it.
