Editorial Review:
2008 release, his first album since White Trash Beautiful four years ago. Love, War And The Ghost Of Whitey Ford [co-produced with his long-time partner Keefus Ciancia] is the logical sequel to Everlast's breakthrough, Whitey Ford Sings the Blues, an eclectic mix of rock, blues, country, pop and hip-hop; and includes the single 'Folsom Prison Blues' which is a Johnny Cash cover laid over Cypress Hill's 'Insane In The Brain' beats

Love, War and the Ghost of Whitey Ford Reviews:
not really satisfied 1 Star Review
2009-12-04 - this was not the CD i thought and the and the songs that were suppose to be on it weren't stacy j.

Some good work gets lost in the background noise 2 Star Review
2009-10-13 - I've always enjoyed the few singles of heard from Everlast and I decided to check out what he does on an entire recording. I have to admit it is interesting to listen to "Folsom Prison Blues" run through "Jump Around" and come out the other side in some kind bizarre mash-up, but after awhile, the songs lose their interest and just become a bizarre of mix of confrontational lyrics and overpowering music. "Anyone's" a narrator who proclaims his love amidst incessant drums, that he will "kill anyone for you." Die in Yer Arms Tonight" tells this story, "She's a junkie on a binge, and her drug is the city She's a vicious little bitty, attitude is ... well you get the point (and the obvious rhyme.) When he takes things down a notch like on "Friend" or "Saving Grace" I find his work more interesting, allowing his words to come through without the unnecessary adornment of the overly similar beats that many of the songs seem to repeat. This technique works so well for him I find myself wishing he'd go all out and try an acoustic blues set, but for now, I'll stick to the singles that catch me from now on.

Welcome back Everlast ! 5 Star Review
2009-09-24 - I have been looking for his music for a while,
loving "put your lights on" from the Santana album. Much to my delight, I was searching for the theme song from "Saving Grace" to play at my birthday party, and purchased this CD. I cannot take it off my portable player. This rocks, this raps, well written, and at times I'm humming one of the songs without knowing it.
BUY IT. You will be surprised and pleased.

Amazing 5 Star Review
2009-06-05 - This CD (aside from the fact that it is full of AWESOME) was in pristine condition. I would definitely buy from this seller again.

Still good but over-produced 4 Star Review
2009-05-18 - I didn't find this CD as good as Everlast's previous efforts, primarally because it seemed to be over-produced. Everlast music seems best in it's raw state so I could do without the horns, etc. However, the last track, the theme from the TV show "Saving Grace", is worth the price of admission.
