White Trash Beautiful Reviews:
"sleeping alone".... yup, that's the one
2008-05-02 - Like a good number of folks, who had to go through a break-up and listened to "Sleeping Alone" and went, ohh this dude knows what its about!!
but beyond that i listened to the very rawness of the lyrics and how practical they were, think everlast in that aspect delivers the goods on this one, granted that its not as good as whitey ford. But i feel that this album does deserve a good time on the CD player, it will hook you on atleast two numbers, irrespective of which genre you belong to.
Recommend. Good CD overall.
Good - No Matter What You Call It
2007-12-09 - Glancing at previous reviews, I see a few that are critical of the album for what it ain't when they should be judging it by what it is. I was looking for Amazing Grace when someone burned me a CD that contained many of the songs on this album and, based on that, I purchased it. It hasn't been out of my cd changer since I got it and I will frequently change back to this disc. It is the one disc that has remained, throughout the weekly swaps. I won't argue with its classification as rap as some have done. Whether it is or not is unimportant to me; my tastes are eclectic. I can't think of a single bad track on this album.
One of the most underrated musicians of our time.
2007-12-08 -
From his hip-hop early days to the current folk-rap style that he seems to have innovated, this is a solid album.
Babyboomer's Review
2007-10-01 - This is one of those VERY rare CD's where every
track is great. This is my first Everlast CD.
I ran across him when trying to find the theme
song from the TNT TV show "Saving Grace". No
matter what your age is,explore all types of
music....you may just run across a gem like this.
By the way, I'm 55 years old.
good stuff
2007-03-27 - love this CD. Everlast shows his true styles with fresh beats and lyrics....love this guy...hope he keeps them comin....
