Her Best Album To Date!
2009-10-17 - This is easily her best album before she decided to go into Pop/Country territory!
This album produced 5 hits-included are the classic hits Someone Else's Dream(love the lyrics to this)Let's Go To Vegas(really catchy uptempo),You Can't Lose Me,and the beautiful ballads It Matters To Me and I Can't Do That Anymore(which Alan Jackson wrote).All excellent songs!
Other gems include the touching domestic abuse song A Man's Home Is His Castle and the feisty uptempo You Will Be Mine.
Produced by Scott Hendricks and Faith-her ex boyfriend as she went on to marry Tim McGraw.This album has a great collection of traditional 90's country music that you will still enjoy today!

2nd Time's A Charm, Not 3rd
2007-08-17 - Faith Hill's second CD is a charm and a reason to be. "Let's Go To Vegas" an upbeat song about going to Vegas to get married or do whatever they want. This song is very catchy and easy to sing to. "It Matters To Me" is about how things matter to a woman no matter what her man thinks. "You Can't Lose Me" is about a woman who sticks by her family and tends to their needs and she will never go away no matter what. "I Can't Do That Anymore" is just the opposite as "You Can't Lose Me". She does everything for her husband and nothing pleases him so she has just about given up. The video is also good. At the end she goes back into his arms and the rest is happily ever after. I think the video is taken down in Texas because of an oil well in the video. None the less it is a very good song. The sassy song "Keep Walkin' On" is done with Shelby Lynn and is a christian song. What an ending to a CD. "Someone Else's Dream" is about dreams of someone else and not her dreams and starts the CD off really good. Faith Hill always makes good music no matter what kind of music it is, whether it is contemporary country, pop, or music with a rock sound. She has a spectacular voice with a wide range. Faith is always an asset to my CD collection.

2007-07-05 - Faith's voice is as great as ever on her second CD, and the songs rule too. Here are the good ones:

Someone Else's Dream - the singer is going to live her own life finally

Let's Go to Vegas - fast and high-spirited. Urges to try luck at marriage

Bed of Roses - assertive, retorting attitude

Man's Home is Hist Castle - great song about domestic violence. Great imagery. "his home is his castle, and mine his cage."

You Can't Lose Me

You Will Be Mine - loud and assertive, not really country tune. Singer tells guy she is gonna get him.

Keep Walkin' On - spirited gospel duet with Shelby Lynne.

2007-06-14 - To me persoanlly it just seem like this album was just put togehter. Its just boring. I do like " It Matters To me " and Am mans Home Is His Castle. But the rest of the cd just does go anywhere with me. Im sorry Faith

My Favorite Country Album By Faith HIll
2006-07-19 - I love this album by faith hill I never really liked her before but her pop cd "cry" which is my favorite cd by her steered me towards liking her and has become my third favorite singer behind Sheryl Crow and Shania herself. Now I will rate the songs

1.Someone Else's Dream: 8/10 good

2.Let's Go To Vegas: 5/10 okay song maybe too "country" for me.
Video's a little silly

3.It Matters To Me:10/10 My favorite song on the cd and in my opinion the best ballad on the cd. I like how it's so desperate and the emotion in faith's voice

4.Bed of Roses:9/10 Great song

5.A Man's Home Is His Castle 10/10 Haunting

6.You Can't Lose Me: 9/10 Good Song

7.I Can't Do That Anymore:10/10 So Desperate and a great ballad
