"A Baby Changes Everything"
2009-12-15 - Faith Hill's Christmas album is uplifting and inspiring. "A Baby Changes Everything" is a moving, contemporary take on the meaning of Christmas. The song is told from the view of his Mother Mary, a very young, unmarried teenager -- "a baby changes everything" in her life and in ours. Beautiful!

Faith's beautiful voice doesn't make this a beautiful CD!
2009-12-13 - I'm a huge fan of Faith Hill, and I normally love just about everything does. But with this cd... I can't agree more with the reviewers who say it's boring. Her voice is still beautiful of course, but there is NOTHING special about any of the songs or the cd as a whole. To me it seems like it was done quickly and without any thought or creativity - just thrown together in the most basic way possible. Even the pacing of some of the individual songs makes it seem like the whole project was rushed through. All in all, this is far from the worst Christmas cd I've heard, and it's a fine addition to whatever your regular rotation is. But you won't be playing the whole cd through very often. And don't expect too much of Faith's usual style.

2009-12-10 - If you are looking for a great Chrismtas CD with the traditional songs both religious and non-religious sung in the tradition manner, this is the one for you. Faith Hill delivers an excellent product. It contains one song "Baby Changes Everything" that is original and so very good. I highly recommend it.

Country Artist...Pop Sounding Album....ish !!!!!
2009-12-04 - As a music director at a radio station, I am amazed at all the country artists who put out christmas albums that sound like anything but country. This is another of those albums.

The instrumentation behind the voice sounds the same as 500 other Christmas albums. Remove Faith's voice and insert Mel Torme or Celine Dion and it wouldn't sound out of place.

I'd rather hear a country version of the song. Throw in a fiddle, not a violin. A little steel guitar would be music to my ears.
