2008-07-24 - Great Deluxe Edition!
This new version of The Dutchess includes a new exclusive poster fold-out illustration of Fergie An insert with a coupon to Fergie merchandise, and bonus tracks and the new Sex and the City theme song.
Not what I expected. 
2008-07-11 - I like some of the songs on this cd, but it is much more rap-oriented than I had hoped. Fergie has a good sound, but many of these songs are more other artists. The lyrics are pretty explicit, as the label says. This is the first Fergie cd I've purchased, so maybe I'm just not a big fan, but I was a bit disappointed.
Fergie knows how to knock out the hits! Great CD ~ 
2008-06-30 - I really enjoyed this CD - there are some rockin' tracks on here especially #2 Clumsy. Looking forward to seeing what comes next for Fergie!
An Absolutely Unnecessary Re-Release : Fergie Gets it Wrong 
2008-06-05 - Heres the thing, Fergie : Do you WANT me to illegally download your stuff? I may as well, considering this new version of "The Dutchess" comes more than a year after its' original release, and only gives us FOUR new songs, of which one is a hideous remix of the albums' worst track. Seriously. Which genius greenlighted this project? At least Beyonce, when she rereleased "B'Day", gave us tons of new tracks, and an entire DVD with a music video to every track!! Now that's what I call a re-release, not this embarrassment of a "Deluxe Edition". Meanwhile, what does "Deluxe" even mean. I hear that word so often when these 'editions' come out, and I doubt even Fergie knows the actual meaning of the word.
The only new songs here are "Party People" with Nelly, "Barracuda" (a VERY poor Heart cover), and the new song from the "Sex and the City" soundtrack. Do yourself a favor - head to Itunes, where you can get the Digital EP of this album - all 4 extra songs plus one other song that you can't get anywhere else (this physical CD does NOT contain that extra song). Is it worth it? Yes and No. As with every rerelease, many people are usually divided on whether the purchase was 'worth it'. In the case of this album, I implore you - PLEASE do not support such pathetic attempts at extracting our money - either download the tracks individually online, but if you already own "The Dutchess", there is really NO NEED to own this disaster.
One Star. Get with the program Fergie, and stop rippin' us off.

I wonder if Fergie has any say in if a re-release of her 1st debut album is necessary or not. She probably does, i mean she isn't recording new songs for her health. Anyways artist these days really ruin things with their re-releases. It is such a double dip effort. She could have just released the 4 songs as an EP or recorded a whole new album. It has been 2 years since the Dutchess was released so maybe it was time 4 a new album. I am so disappointed by this. The funny thing is i don't know 1 person who owns the Fergie CD. So was it that big of a success in terms of album sales that it garners a re-release with extra tracks? Most likely not and if that's the case why not just release a new album. Only get this if you haven't already picked up the 1st release.
I can't believe Beyonce & Justin did this as well. Only Mariah's re-release was worth it because it came with a DVD. Don't re-release unless your gonna offer something spectacular.
