Editorial Review:
A disgraced former LAPD detective leads a home invasion in search of millions in stolen money. The plan goes awry and homicide detectives, Gabrielle Union and Giancarlo Esposito, seeking answers interrogate the only survivors, a thief and a victim. But this thrilling murder mystery doesn’t stop there, delving deeper into the detectives’ true motivations, for one, the urge to amend her past mistakes as a rookie cop, for the other, the desire to cash in on a high stakes offer from the mysterious mastermind behind the scheme.
The Box Reviews:
Don't Waste Your Money
2009-11-04 - I normally like all movies with Gabrielle, but this is a total flop and so not worth any amount of money.
Interesting Twist
2009-03-19 - Good movie. A little slow in the beginning, yet interesting. As usual, Gabrielle Union puts her all into and made it worth my bucks! Had an interesting twist in the end. GREAT!!!
A Hidden Treasure!
2009-03-02 - When I first received this movie I was disappointed because I couldn't really see it from all the scratches that was on it, but when I was able to get it cleaned...I found a hidden treasure!
I love Gabriel Union she is a great actress and in this movie she proved that she could be given some more roles with substance.
This movie was action packed and filled with suspense of a who done it kind of plot.
What I like most without giving the ending away it had a great twist that you would have never even thought of while watching the movie.
That is the sign of a great movie and that is exactly what this movie was!
Just Okay
2008-06-26 - This movie is one I could have borrowed from a friend instead of buy and add to my collection. I fell asleep on the movie a few times and had to go back and watch part over again.
Rent it or borrow from a friend.
J.D.
2008-02-05 - From beginning to end this film kept me in suspense. I was pleasantly surprised with each new unexpected plot twist and enjoyed the story and the characters. There was humor, action and the perfect amount of suspense as each character played with their own version of the truth. Solid performances from the main cast of Giancarlo Esposito, Gabrielle Union, Jason George and Yul Vasquez. It's the type of film you can watch over and over again to see which part you missed, or what fact was most important much like others suspense films like "Usual Suspects." I highly recommend this film for mystery, suspense and action fans.
