Editorial Review:
One artist...one decade...one hundred million albums sold! Garth Brooks remains the biggest Country artist of all-time. He harnessed the Country and Pop influences of has past and created a new kind of Country that appealed to different generations of fans and crossed over into the Pop market like no other artist before him. Garth Brooks changed the rules based on his talent alone. He became a worldwide superstar while remaining true to his humble roots, which added to his appeal. This is his 1989 self-titled debut album and features 'The Dance', 'I've Got A Good Thing Going' and 'Not Counting You'. Pearl.
Garth Brooks Reviews:
Garth's best
2009-03-12 - I agree with the other two reviewers - this is Garth's best CD. I bought this album almost the exact same time that I bought Clint Black's first CD, Killin Time, both back in 1989. Clint's first album was the best debut album I've ever heard, but I like this album of Garth's pretty well too.
Great cd
2008-10-24 - I really love this cd, every song is fantastic. I've owned this cd so long that I wore my first one out and had to buy another one. Garth's best cd.
Garth's best album
2008-01-18 - As the editorial suggests, this is Garth Brooks' best album. If you only own one, own this one.... it's beautiful, beginning to end... especially the end... The Dance. If you don't own it, then your CD library is pretty annoying.
