Call the Shots Pt. 2 Reviews:
Finally, a decent 2nd track 
2008-03-22 - This is the CD1 of the 2CD set of "Call The Shots" - meaning it only has 2 tracks. Therefore in my reviews, it can't go higher then 4 stars.
But for once, we actually get a decent 2nd track on the CD alongside the single itself. Rundown:
01. Call The Shots
The radio edit of CTS. Like I said, not my fave GA single, but it's still a good song. This is chilled out, quite relaxed, which is a new thing for the girls. The best part of this song is the middle 8 which Nicola sings She sounds amazing! I love listening to this song just for that part. Overall though, this is a good, if yet a bit bland song. (3/5)
02. Rehab [Radio 1 Live Lounge]
The high point of the single and a great 2nd track, this is a acoustic live track from Radio 1's Live Lounge, a cover of Amy Winehouse's "Rehab." The girls are absolutely great on this song, they do it better then Amy. They take turns singing a line, and it sounds brilliant. I love their version of the song! (5/5)
If we'd had a bad 2nd track, I would have given the single 3 stars or maybe 2. But "Rehab" keeps it at 4 stars.
Five stars for Blow Your Cover 
2008-03-21 - "Call The Shots" isn't my favourite Girls Aloud single. I'm a huge fan of the girls, but I find CTS a little bit bland. But it has been a huge hit for them and for that I am glad.
Here is my rundown of the tracks:
01. Call The Shots [Main Version]

02. Blow Your Cover
This is the high point of the single in my opinion. Get this CD just for this song. It's another one of GA's brilliant b-sides (of which they have many!). This song is VERY reminiscent of "Love Machine" - one of GA's previous (and best) singles. The tune is mostly the same, but it's not a complete copy. Nadine and Cheryl lead this bouncy upbeat track, which isn't really about anything but is loads of fun to sing along to. Great. (5/5)
03. Call The Shots [Xenomania Club Mix]
I'm glad Xenomania are remixing GA's songs themselves, because Tony Lamezma was getting tiresome. But this is a quite good remix, it's clubby and speeds up CTS a lot. Rather good. (4/5)
04. Call The Shots [Enhanced Video]
Of course this single has the video. The video to CTS is gorgeous - it was filmed in Santa Monica and features the girls on the beach at night in beautiful purple outfits, singing the song. Simple, but it works with the relaxed nature of the song. (5/5)
Despite me not liking CTS so much, this single still receives 5 stars because of "Blow Your Cover" and the video. You need this if you're a GA fan. 5 stars!
