And, most importantly, she discovers the "real" treasure of the Treasure Coast!
Five-time Grammy® Award-winning singer-songwriter and New York Times bestselling author Gloria Estefan lets Noelle bring plenty of friends to join in on the fun! Her lyrical and spirited verses are complemented by Michael Garland's vivid illustrations. This funny and warm story brims with life as Noelle learns that true treasures are often found in the least likely places.
Noelle's Treasure Tale: A New Magically Mysterious Adventure Reviews:
Noelle Thinks She Found Some Buried Treasure!
2008-07-16 - This is a cute children's book about a bulldog who wants to find some buried treasure. Of course, she does find some, but who does she meet and what does she do with it? Read and find out! Gloria Estefan writes her second children's book about Noelle the bulldog and provides us with a CD kids will love. It fits right on Disney Channel! Kids will love this.
Cute, colorful and out-of-the-ordinary!
2008-06-08 - This is the second book by noted singer Gloria Estefan and involves a bulldog named Noelle: the further magic and mysterious adventures of a sweet, big-eyed canine. Noelle's mistress reads her a story of Spanish galleons lost at sea, along with the treasure of the Royal Crown. At the beach, Noelle searches the sand for buried treasure and enlists the help of other animals, including a crab and sea birds. After her efforts, she falls asleep and dreams she is on a galleon and made to walk the plank! She is rescued by a sea turtle, who then gives her a map to find the treasure. When Noelle awakens, she goes to the spot the dream map indicated, and finds baby sea turtles hatching! She directs them safely to the sea, and then, lo-and-behold, she digs up the Royal Crown, which she and her mistress then return to the king and queen of Spain. A fun, contemporary read.
Noelle's Treasure Tale
2008-04-15 - The book was great. My grandson loved it and has read it many times.
This is the second of Gloria Estafan's book about Noelle and they were both
very colorful and a delight to read.
Hey, Bulldog!
2008-02-13 - Noelle is a beautiful little bulldog (she is NOT homely as Marge Loch-Wouters, Menasha Public Library, WI asserts in her editorial review) with a loving heart. Readers are treated to this delightful little bulldog again in this story, after having enjoyed her in Estefan's first book about her, "The Magically Mysterious Adventures of Noelle the Bulldog."
Noelle's owner reads her a story about a Spanish galleon filled with treaures. Infused with excitement, the spirited little bulldog decides to go on a quest of her own to find that treasure! Once at the beach, she vows she will find that ship laden with treasure buried in the sand. She goes out on her mission and in the process makes some crustacean and marine friends.
A delightful book for all ages, readers will certainly agree that the lovable little bulldog is the REAL treasure. She makes you think of the Beatles' classic, "Hey, Bulldog!"
Noelle's Treasure Tale
