Ultimate Collection Reviews:
So good, but SO incomplete 4 Star Review
2009-10-07 - Are we ever gonna get any of those early gems? The song that introduced so many of us to Grace Jones was the Tom Moulton 12" mix of That's The Trouble. Why is that never on any reissue? I know we're all supposed to say that Grace wasn't so important until Nightclubbing, but those early albums and 12 inch singles were fun and creative and quirky, and miles ahead of their contemporaries. It would be outstanding to have a reissue of those first three albums and all the 12 inch mixes that came out of the. Tom Moulton & Grace jones - a real dream team of the disco era.

A blast from the past.... 5 Star Review
2008-10-12 - Anyone who followed Grace Jones in the 80's needs to reconnect with this collection. Worth every penny!

Amazing Grace 5 Star Review
2008-04-13 - God, I LOVE grace Jones. She is a true original. Her voice, her persona - one of a kind. This is a great collection of her work and worth getting, but why can't we get something new? The world needs some new grace!

Ladies and Gentlemen, Here's GRACE!!! 5 Star Review
2008-03-25 - GRACE JONES THE ULTIMATE COLLECTION is a great 3-cd set for die-hard Grace fans. Although all of the material has been previously released, the 32-bit remastering is what makes this collection worth the price.

The first cd covers the 70s (and part of the 80s) and include "La Vie En Rose" and "I Need A Man." Both songs remastered and in their entirety and sound fantastic! Also on cd #1 "Do Or Die" and "Fame" among others, which have not been released on remastered compilations like Private Life: The Compass Point Sessions.

CD #2 covers the 80s and includes "I'm Not Perfect," "Victor Should Have Been A Jazz Musician," and "Love On Top Of Love"--again not available on previous compilations.

CD #3 is compiled from various cuts from Private Life: The Compass Point Sessions with the exception of "Sex Drive" that was released as a single.

Great set for fans who are familiar with Jones's work and want remastered tracks, but for the uninitiated I would suggest Island Life. That compliation has most of Grace's standards and is much cheaper. It'll give you a taste without breaking the bank.

Also included, small booklet with Jones bio and description/info of albums and tracks. (GRACE JONES THE ULTIMATE COLLECTION is made by Universal Music which also did Donna Summer: The Ultimate Collection)

Very pleased! 5 Star Review
2008-01-12 - I was a great fan of Grace Jones back in the '70's, so I was very pleased to find this collection digitally remastered.

This vendor filled my order and shipped it immediately. I would not hesitate to do business with them again.
