Editorial Review:
Any movie starring Arnold Schwarzenegger is bound to have a soundtrack designed to match his brawn at every turn. The big hype here is the first Guns N' Roses track since 1993 (if Axl Rose alone can be GNR). While the track "Oh My God" alone probably isn't solid enough to distinguish this soundtrack, unreleased cuts from Korn and Limp Bizkit and notable contributions from Sonic Youth, Rob Zombie, Prodigy, and Creed make this an impressive collection of hard rock at the millennium's end. For those interested in subtler moves, Everlast contribute the previously unreleased "So Long," which was allegedly written before the Columbine High School shootings in 1999 and serves as a haunting premonition of the tragedy. Its moody introspection is a suitable counterbalance to the over-the-top rhythms and rage sported throughout. Rapper Eminem is incredibly heated with the aptly named "Bad Influence." --Rob O'Connor

End of Days Reviews:
Some good stuff, but some not so good stuff as well. 3 Star Review
2009-12-06 - Korn - Camel Song - 1/5 - They've done much better.
Everlast - So Long - 4/5 - Dark song with simple, direct lyrics.
Professional Murder Music - Slow - 2.5/5 - Decent song.
Limp Bizkit - Crushed - 2.5/5 - See Korn
Guns N' Roses - Oh My God - 4/5 - Nice Rare Track
Prodigy - Poison - 2/5 - See Korn and LB. Got better towards the middle.
Rob Zombie - Superbeast (Girl On A Motorcycle Mix)- 3/5 - Ok, but the mixing was pretty standard. Nothing really unique.
Eminem - Bad Influence - 5/5 - Awesome song!
Powerman 5000 - Nobody's Real - 2/5 - See Korn, LB and Prodigy.
Stroke - I Wish I Had - 1/5 - Bleh.
Sonic Youth - Sugar Kane - 3/5 - Decent track.
Creed - Wrong Way - 3.5/5 - Very good track.

Overall:2.79

Seems like they some stuff that was leftover from the bands' other releases. I picked this up for $3.01 on Ebay. If wasn't a bad deal considering the usual price per song on sites like Itunes or here on Amazon (if they had this one). Four keepers and two or three other decent tracks.

Half good, half bad 3 Star Review
2009-07-14 - Half of this soundtrack is really worth listening to, while the other half isn't really good at all. The good songs are "Camel Song" by Korn, "So Long" by Everlast, "Crushed" by Limp Bizkit, "Superbeast [Girl on a Motorcycle remix]" by Rob Zombie, "Bad Influence" by Eminem, "Nobody's Real" by Powerman 5000, and "Wrong Way" by Creed. These are the songs that stand out, with catchy and very distinctive sounds and melodies. The bad songs are (at least in my opinion) "Slow" by Professional Murder Music, "Oh my God" by Guns N' Roses, "Poison" by the Prodigy, "I Wish I Had" by Stroke, and "Sugar Kane" by Sonic Youth. These are the songs that aren't very interesting. The Guns N' Roses song should be special, since this is the first song after a six-year hiatus. It doesn't sound very good, however. Maybe it's because I'm just not a Guns N' Roses fan. But anyway, this album does have its ups and downs. I'll stick with the ups whenever I listen to it, at least for now.

Nice Gems on the Soundtrack 4 Star Review
2009-04-28 - If you collect music as I do and like rare finds, this soundtracks is for you. You will get some hit tracks that were played on the FM charts such as Everlast - So Long, Creed - Wrong Way and Powerman 5000 - Nobody's Real but I thought the tracks by Professional Murder Music - Slow and Guns N' Roses - Off My God were excellent rare finds.

just wondering 2 Star Review
2006-10-19 - i believe it is this movie, although i haven't seen it in a while, that has a really good techno/piano song in it that i can't seem to find again. once i heard the song i really liked it but can't come up with anything when i search for it. please help.

Most strong, some weak but overall it's impressive 4 Star Review
2006-02-10 - I'm not a Guns N' Roses fan so the hype over their first studio effort since 93' was not what got me to buy this album. Actually, as imbarassing as this may be, what drew me to the album was an unreleased song by Limp Bizkit which turned out to be like the worst song here. The opener, Korns 'Camel Song' is great, an awsome track with some cool eerie guitar work. Everlast, one of my personal favorites, gives another great song with his unreleased track 'So Long' with haunting lyrics and great musicianship. As I said, a low point is Limps 'Crushed', even 'Oh My God' is better, and I don't really even like that song. Love Prodigy, just wish it were a new or unreleased track and not 'Poison' which was also used on the 'Jackel' soundtrack I believe. Still an awsome song. The Rob Zombie remix is killer, as is the original. Eminems track may not belong on a rock album but it's welcome. He blazes through offensive lyrics to a killer in your face beat and proves he is a master of the tongue. 'Bad Influence' is my favorite track here. Awsome. 'Nobodys Real' is decent, but again, nothing new...Falls a little short and then closes with Creed. Creed may not fit either but 'Wrong Way' is not entirly terrible and so it's forgiven. For the most part this album will not dissapoint, but it may not utterly impress if you get my drift.
