Sure to please any fan of that great Country Music sound! 
2009-12-17 - Hank Williams Jr. is one of the absolute giants of Country Music, and this CD is one of the best collections of his music that I have heard. It contains a lot of excellent tunes, including A Country Boy Can Survive, Family Tradition, and If Heaven Ain't A Lot Like Dixie. But, my absolutely favorite track is There's A Tear In My Beer, which is him singing along with his father. It's got a great sound, and sometimes I just listen to it over and over again. (I know, it's a well he can't return to, so there will never be another one like it, but I sure wish there was!)
This is a great CD, one that is sure to please any fan of that great Country Music sound! I really like this album, and I don't hesitate to recommend it.

2008-12-12 - I'm a hank jr fan and I know that this cd does not have every "essential" hit but every song is good and you really can't go wrong buying this...especially if you buy it off of amazon. I made the mistake of buying it at Barnes n noble and it cost me $17. Definitely buy it but buy it off Amazon!
Hank Jr. Country
2008-08-13 - I love country music and have lots of favorite singers, but Hank Jr. is one of my favorites of favorites, if not my very favorite. I enjoy his music, not only because of his talent, but because of the material he sings about. He sings a lot of songs about the country and having fun. Those types of songs are the types I love the most. Of all Hank's songs, "Country State of Mind" is my favorite, and it is on this CD. The song is about being in the country and fishing - it reminds me of my teen days when I fished on the creekbank in the hot ole summer sun.
This CD also has "A Country State of Mind", another one of my favorite songs, and it is about the country!
"All My Rowdy Friends Are Coming Over Tonight" and "There's a Tear In My Beer" (with Hank Sr.) are also my favorites.
Hank Jr.'s songs are the type of country that I will never stop listening to.
