The Bocephus Box Reviews:
Not worth buying 2 Star Review
2009-05-22 - Per some of the other reviews, this indeed has WAY too much filler. Do we really need 3 different versions of "A Country Boy Can Survive?" Not in my opinion. And many of the live tracks simply aren't very good. Some of his covers of songs that are owned by other artists are simply shadows of the original versions, such as "Only Daddy That'll Walk The Line" and "Midnight Rider." The fact that there could be a 3 disk CD set suppposedly covering Hank Jr's legacy between 1979 and 1999 which doesn't include every single he released during that period is just wrong. At $35, this is definitely not a good value. Better to buy used copies of his greatest hits CDs.

one of the best!! 5 Star Review
2008-12-03 - politically inept for sticking his nose in Mccains campaign but otherwise one of the best singers and song writers of country rock

A must for any Hank William Fan 5 Star Review
2007-11-11 - This is by far his best CD, a must have for the Hank William Jr Fans out there

Do NOT buy 1 Star Review
2006-10-30 - Early recordings and/or unknown versions. Please stick to his originally released CDs

Pretty good but could have been better 3 Star Review
2006-07-06 - Got this as a gift a few years back. I've enjoyed it because it introduced me to some good songs that I was not familiar with (Outlaw Women and I've got rights for example). One of the gems for me is "To Love Somebody" (love the way he does the song). The best of the bunch by far is on CD one. Most of the songs on CD's two and three just don't do much for me. Some of its okay and some if it just isn't worth listening to. I give CD one five stars but the other two bring the rating down to only three.
