Editorial Review: Studio: Sony Music Release Date: 01/30/2007 Death on the Road - 2003 Tour (3pc) Reviews: maiden live 2009-06-13 - 5 stars for the show and the band .this is a tremendous show. some others have complain about the set list, but that's maiden.when promoting a new cd,they play half of it. that's what makes them one of the best bands in the world. they haven't been playing the same set list for 20 years. they promote the new material and in between they will do something like the somewhere back in time tour. the best of both- i would not take off for the fast editing, but it could have been edited better
Maiden Still Rules After All These Years!!! 2009-05-30 - This video is truly awesome. Until the Flight 666 movie, this was the best video Maiden had ever done. It is well worth the purchase if you like Maiden. The clarity is super. The only drawback, in my opinion, is that during truly awesome guitar solos, the clips kept changing as fast as Nicko beat on his drum. You could never simply stay on Dave or Adrian to watch and enjoy their expertise on the guitar during their solos. Yeah, okay, Jannick, too, but less so.
That about covers it. I've been a Maiden fan since I first saw them in 1980 when I was stationed in Germany. I have seen them many times since, including twice on this past world tour (Chicago & Ft. Lauderdale).
Up the Irons!!!
Fast cuts are unwatchable 2009-03-29 - Excellent band and music. But the video editing is horrific - they cut to another camera view every second (or faster in many cases). This DVD isn't worth a dime - I recommend that you don't buy it.
The Editing makes it Unwatchable 2009-02-13 - After the Rock In Rio fiasco, I couldnt believe this one was chopped up even worse. For the love of God Steve, stay on the guitar player through his whole solo, or meaningful part during a song, the endless Bruce Dickinson shots waving his arms, while Dave Murray is ripping off camera are obnoxious. I love Steve Harris and I cant stand the video editing.
The perfomances speak for themselves, save money or something, leave about 20 of those cameramen off the next one.
Kickin yer Irons 2009-01-05 - Look, all the whiny people who do not like this vid - all I can say is you are not true Maiden fans. BNW, NML's,and Paschendale are this band at their best! Not to mention Journeyman. Iron Maiden is and always will be the greatest live band. Up your Irons!!
