    Confessions of a Shopaholic Reviews:
    So Disappointing 1 Star Review
2009-11-28 - I think Isla Fisher is adorable. This movie, on the other hand, was not. There was no chemistry between the main characters and I couldn't wait for the film to be over. Isla is a wonderful comedic actress and the poor script did not allow her to showcase her talents. Stay away!

Cute, Cute, Cute 5 Star Review
2009-11-25 - The movie is so cute and a lot of people can relate. I would highly recommend the purchase.

    Awesome Delivery 5 Star Review
2009-11-23 - I ordered this product and had it sitting in my mail box 3 days later--it's incredible how fast they got this to me! It was in great shape--I've already watched it and it runs perfectly. All in all I am a satisfied customer and would shop from this person again! Great job and greatly appreciated!

    Great purchase! 5 Star Review
2009-11-03 - I did not get the chance to see this movie when it came out in the theater, so I waited for it to come out to rent on DVD. I loved it so much that I wanted to buy a copy. When DVD's first come out for sale they are usually retail or full price at first then come down with time. I was waiting for the price to come down and then I would buy it. However, I found a new one for a great price on Amazon and decided to go ahead and get it. Now I own one earlier than expected.

Didn't know that chick flix coud be offensive. 1 Star Review
2009-10-30 - I never read the book so this review is solely for the movie version. I rented this movie from a local library to lighten up. I love chick flix - I even enjoyed House Bunny recently. In this movie the supposedly adorable looking heroine Becky gets into a huge credit card debt. One thing like a hot dog stand where she wanted to get "cash back" - HA! - to another, she gets hired by a uber wealthy, handsome, young bachelor who is not spoiled at all by his silver spoon that he was born with (yet who could not resist hiring a girl who was sticking her bum into his face at the interview table). And then MIRACULOUSLY her writing becomes a big hit and of course her knight in shining armor falls for her. Do we need more of this non-sense? Cindrella syndrome is in every woman including myself but not this far, not in this way. Becky has no distinctive character like Elle Woods from Legally Blonde or Cher in Clueless. The acting is mediocre at best failing miserably bringing out the characters in any possibly believable way and I personally think Isla Fisher tried way too hard to look cute. This is the first chickflix that made me feel insulted. I adore chick flix and they usually have some backbones but not this kind of jellyfish mumbo jumbo.
