No Acting Please Reviews: No Acting Please 2009-11-24 - This is a great book for the Actor or any other person as for that matter.
The book is filled with good philosophy for any individual: performing or just plain living and relating. The exercises are easily understood and very productive. I would recommend this book to any actor or individual that wants to connect with themselves and "be real."
If you need it on time don't use this seller 2009-07-11 - The book arrived in good condition but we had to pay for shipping twice because it took so long to arrive- several weeks after it was ordered. I would never order from Smokey Mountain books again
Great Book from a Great Coach 2009-06-27 - After 30 years in acting, I still use this book as one of my bibles. I don't refer to it all that often anymore as I did nothing but refer to it for years and now have the thing memorized. But when I needed something answered with regard to my craft, I could find the answers in the pages of this book. I moved to Los Angeles to study with Eric, which I did for three years. Since moving back home, I've realized that those three years were some of the toughest, growth-producing and marvelous years of my life. I've had many teachers, many coaches, but as a working Seattle actor, I give the majority of my thanks to Eric, his workshops and his writings.
excellent acting resource 2008-04-25 - This is like the handbook version of the Being and Doing book by the same author. Something like a fist-aid kit in case of an "emergency" on stage or during a take. Break glass before storming off the set in disgust.
Its perfect 2007-10-04 - This is one the of the best approached to acting. It makes everything clear.
Also an easy read.
