Description of White Chicks (Unrated and Uncut Edition):
Roasted by critics but surprisingly tenacious at the box office, White Chicks is the kind of comedy that thrives (well, maybe) on home video. Faint praise indeed, but it allows comedy fans an opportunity to cut the Wayans brothers (costars Marlon and Shawn, and director-cowriter Keenen Ivory) some slack and at least try to answer the obvious question, what were they thinking? For the sake of charity, let's ignore charges of reverse racism that plagued this would-be comedy about a pair of FBI agents (Marlon and Shawn) who go undercover as over-privileged white debutantes to thwart a kidnapping scheme, and let's allow that comedy--not social satire--is the Wayans' top priority. If you can get past the fart jokes, the freakishly unconvincing "white chick" makeup, seemingly endless gags about "white chicks" getting hit on by lusty black guys, and a plot that really doesn't matter at all, you just might find a laugh or two in the Wayans' attempt to understand women through a bit of friendly gender reversal. Tootsie it's not, but at least White Chicks offers more entertainment that Nicky and Paris Hilton, who partially inspired the story. Just ask yourself, which freak show do you prefer? --Jeff Shannon

Laughter therapy!!! 
2009-10-03 - If you enjoy the spoofs on SNL or 30 Rock, you will enjoy this movie. This is soooooo funny that I laughed so much I had tears in my eyes. Granted sometimes it is silly or rather pre-adolescent humor, but that's okay. IT IS A COMEDY, not a FBI drama, or social commentary. I'm a white middle-aged southern female and I took no offense at all, just pure fun. Consider this movie a dose of laughter which IS the best medicine for health afterall.

2009-07-13 - I love this movie! I know - it seems ridiculous that two black men could pose as two white women. First, remember that this is a COMEDY. Secondly, watch the special features clip on how the make-up is done. When you see the process, you appreciate what a really great job the make-up artists did. Besides, with just a pair of glasses, Superman could transform himself into Clark Kent with no questions asked. Ditto for Wonder Woman. So, this plot isn't so unbelievable after all.
Loads of laughs
2009-07-10 - I first saw this movie on TV and after watching it a couple more times afterwards I actually received it as a b-day gift. I love the Wayans brothers and this movie is no exception. I appreciate the toned down rated edition... Eskimo porn is too much for me (haha). If you appreciate the humor in this movie then you'll get loads of laughs.
And we're gonna go....shopping!

2009-07-05 - White Chicks is Hysterical. I mean you have to suspend reality a bit since they dont look exactly like the girls, but the movie is so funny, you dont care. there are lots of non-pc correct jokes that are very funny. I just love this movie. ive watched many many times and continue to catch more and more jokes. I love the wayans bros. they are just willing to go places that others wont go. :-)

2009-06-30 - This movie is fantastic, though it is HIGHLY inappropriate for younger audiences. The unrated and uncut version includes fantastic scenes not shown in theaters that add to the overall comedy of the movie.
