Japanese pressing includes an exclusive bonus track TBA. Long before he was an Oscar winner, Jamie Foxx was a classically trained pianist and nightclub performer. Unpredictable is Foxx's second solo album, following 1994's Peep This, and it's even longer on baby-making slow jams like 'Three Letter Word' and 'Do What It Do', which suffer from the disconcerting sense that a silky croon is enough to impress anyone who knows Foxx only from the movies. Lest you think Jamie Foxx is simply capitalizing on his Oscar-winning turn in Ray, don't forget that Unpredictable is actually a follow-up (albeit 11 years later) to his 1994 debut, Peep This. In fact, Unpredictable even sounds like a slow jams album from the '90s; despite featuring guests like Snoop, Kanye West, and The Game, Foxx isn't trying to out- club Ciara or Amerie with a series of hip-hop-flavored tracks. Instead, he relies on getting his croon on with tried-and-true R&B balladry. Unpredictable actually gets rather predictable over the course of 15 songs, too many of which begin to meld into one another. But on the best songs, like the sublimely acoustic "Heaven" and his duet with Mary J Blige ("Love Changes"), Foxx reminds you that he has been singing just as long as he's been acting; this is no Jamie-Come-Lately. --Oliver Wang

Not one good song 
2009-06-14 - This was a total waste of money. Every song seems designed to seduce a black woman. They're all slow and boring, with cheesy sexual lyrics. Unless you're a black woman who has fantasies about Jamie Foxx, none of the songs will appeal to you. I've never heard any of these songs on the radio, and now I know why. I can't imagine what kind of audience he was targeting besides drunk women. Jamie Foxx is so talented and has a great voice. Can't believe he wasted an entire album on this nonsense. Very disappointed that I wasted my money. I'm throwing the cd in the garbage because there isn't one decent song.

2009-05-08 - This CD is a classic.Every song on this album is a banger.My favorite songs are VIP, GET THIS MONEY, THE THREE LETTER WORD. Intuition is nice but Unpredictable is a classic.
Jamie, Jamie, Jamie!!!
2008-01-29 - Well, it was long overdue, but worth the wait. As an owner of Jamie's first CD, it wasn't what I expected; however, he didn't disappoint. There were more up tempo selections than expected, but a great buy nevertheless.
Anyone who has never been to one of Jamie's live shows, it's a must see! He is definitely worth the price of a concert ticket, from the props, to the music, to the comedy... the man had something for the ladies and gentlemen.
