Editorial Review:
Boog and Elliot are back for more crazy adventures. After falling head over hooves in love with Giselle, Elliot's road to the altar takes a slight detour when Mr. Weenie is kidnapped by a group of pampered pets determined to return him to his owners. Boog, Elliot, McSquizzy, Buddy and the rest of ?the woodland creatures launch a full-scale rescue mission for their sausage-shaped friend and soon find themselves in enemy camp: the world of the pets. Led by a toy poodle named Fifi, the pets do not plan to let Mr. Weenie go without a fight. Can a toy poodle REALLY bring down an 900-pound grizzly bear? Will Elliot ever marry Giselle? Find out in Open Season 2.

Open Season 2 [Blu-ray] Reviews:
Totally exceeded expectations
2009-10-19 - Totally exceeded expectations, much better than the first one, highly recommend, not an absolute favorite for my daughter, but she will watch it if I put it in, very friendly and kid friendly, nice story about friends and life
Open Season Again -- This time on a budget.
2009-10-16 - If you loved Open Season then you'll probably like seeing the characters back in action in a new adventure. Here's are some ways the sequel differs from the original:
1. No new rockin' songs in the soundtrack.
2. Backgrounds minimal and often cheesy with a cheap done-in-haste look.
3. One hour and sixteen minutes, or about as short as a movie can be and still be called a "movie".
4. Different voice actors for the two main characters (but they did OK).
5. A deleted scene that would have been great but I'm guessing was nixed because it would cost too much to fully animate.
Still, we get some character development and a happily-ever-after ending. And I'm glad they made Giselle a central character and played her off against Elliot. The story is rather fun too, as we get to meet a whole new group of pampered pets.
So, it's fun to watch a reprise of the Open Season world, but rather disappointing in that it seems corners were cut all over the place.
Boog & Elliot return
2009-10-14 - Boog & Elliot return in this funny animated sequel. this movie is awesome. to bad Martin Lawrence & Ashton Kutchern did'nt do this voices in this movie. oh, well it was still awesome. This is a must see.

NOT AS GOOD AS THE ORIGINAL
2009-10-02 - This is a nice sequel and if you liked the original - then this is more of the same - nothing to write home about but a nice story none the less. you won't go wrong in buying this.
