2009-08-19 - This was the first book I learned to read back in the early '70s. I read it over and over until I had it memorized. I have/had brown hair and red was my favorite color too, so I really related to Ann. I am thrilled to have found it here! Can't wait to share it with my boys. :)
The kids loved it
2009-07-31 - The kids loved it. They didn't quite understand why only red was used even when she looked at other colors. Try to explain that back in the day it cost money to use too many different colors.
Brought back great childhood memories!
2009-01-11 - This was my favorite simple reader as a child. I read it until it fell apart. I bought it for myself as a Christmas present and it made me feel just as good many years later. Red is STILL my favorite color.

2008-04-28 - I read Ann Likes Red so many times to my daughters, that it became a family mantra. Mashed potatoes Susan? No, Ann likes red! she would reply. Stringed beans, Emilie? No! Ann likes red. Imagine my surprise to find that the book is still available through Amazon, and that others loved it as much as we did.
