inspirational, captivating, and a great read for therapists
2006-04-14 - I am a psychiatric social worker who works with children with emotional and behavioral problems. I was thoroughly captivated by this book and found it hard to put down. The author's perseverence in seeking help for her son was inspirational. I think this book is a great resource for therapists (also parents, teachers and others who work with children) and will help them to gain an insiders view of what it is like for the families of children with such challenging emotions and behavior and the desperate search for help. I plan to recommend it to my colleagues.
