Another Masterpiece 
2006-10-27 - Janet is such a wonderful artist. Usually I don't go for remixes, but this one caught my attention. Janet has produced another catchy, beautiful song. I truly admire her talent.

2000-10-21 - This is the import version of Doesnt Really Matter, Janet's hot latest single. This is a 3 track cd with the video as an added bonus, something the US release doesnt have. The remixes are good, although the Jonathan Peters one is a little boring, I dont think he did good justice to the song. The Rockwilder remix rules. So you should get this because it has remixes and it also has the video, and added bonus!

You've probably already heard the original version of this song (it is getting airplay like mad), and if you have heard it, you know it is one of Janet's freshest and most catchy songs (although some people have said that they have a hard time understanding everything that Janet says).
The remixes on this version aren't too bad either! The Rockwilder mix is still in the R&B vein, but the beats are a little bit harder than the original version, a little more "jeepin'" so to speak, doesn't drift too far from the original, but gives it a nice facelift nonetheless. Also, I find that the words are a little bit easier to understand in this version.
The Jonathan Peters mix is not typical Jonathan. We're used to seeing him tear up the club floors with his remixes (Aretha Franklin, Paula Cole, Whitney Houston & Deborah Cox are some of the artists he has reworked). Well with this one, he does give Janet a funky house beat to it, but keeps it nice and light (which is a good idea considering the content of the song), and it works well.
Also included on the UK edition of the single is the CD-ROM video for "Doesn't Really Matter".
A must-have for all Janet fans.
