Description of Transporter 3 (Two-Disc Fully Loaded Edition):
Trying to get out but regretfully pulled back in, uber-driver Frank Martin (Jason Statham), in his third misadventure in the Transporter series, eschews retirement to hit the road again--but under unique duress. Frank's services as a wheel man are wanted by a pathological villain, Johnson (Robert Knepper), who pressures him to drive Valentina (Natalya Rudakova), the party-girl daughter of a Ukrainian official (Jeroen Krabbé), across Eastern Europe as part of an environmentally-unfriendly blackmail scheme. The story's gimmick is that Johnson outfits Frank and Valentina with wrist bracelet bombs that will go off if either of them gets more than 75 feet away from the car.
That limitation sets up several enjoyable suspense sequences, including a complicated chase after Frank's car is stolen, forcing him to keep up with the speeding vehicle via a bicycle. Car stunts, no surprise, are plentiful, capped by a breathtaking scene in which Frank drives atop a speeding train. Obligatory fight scenes are no less imaginative, involving numerous confrontations between the hero and a lot of very big bad guys, occasionally using articles of Frank's clothes as unexpected weapons. The script, co-written by the estimable French director Luc Besson (The Professional), has its flaws, such as an awkward striptease by Frank in order to secure the impulsive Valentina's cooperation. But overall, this is a fine popcorn movie with a satisfying conclusion and lots of comedy on the side. --Tom Keogh
Transporter 3 (Two-Disc Fully Loaded Edition) Reviews:
Un-expected purchases
2009-12-13 - I got two Movie CD's that were "Slipped " into my order.I don't know why I would have ordered either of them but they ended up on the order request and I was charged for them. Check your orders over very carefully to make sure what is listing is exactly what you want. I will probably never buy from Amazon again. I think they are sneaks.
Not recieved the Item till date.
2009-11-02 - The order was placed on Sept 16th 2009. Have not received the item till date so unable to review on the product.

Decent action flick
2009-10-26 - Decent enough action flick... typical transporter/Jason Statham movie. Not quite as great as the first but still respectable and worth the watch. Has the standard moves/fighting you've come to expect.
Better than expected, which ain't bad
2009-10-21 - 1. I liked Jason Statham from the Italian Job. However, I've realized that just because one is in a good movie, that doesn't mean that all of their other movies are good.
2. Thus, I was somewhat dubious as to whether or not it would be a waste of time to check out this DVD, but in the end, it was a worthwhile film. The acting was relatively non-annoying (exception: the female actress was... really really bad), the plot line was understandable and the overall film was entertaining.
3. Hey, it's not rocket science, but that's ok--> it's just pure decent entertainment, that's not as juvenile as something like... the fast and furious type of films.
Almost unwatchably bad. Definitely poorer quality than transporter 1.
2009-09-22 - I have seen Transporter #1 which I liked alot. Not a great movie, but a good DVD rental for a plane ride or rainy weekend night. It had great car chases, a decent plot, fantastic action and martial arts, decent one liners. I thought it was as good as a Bond movie at least, if not better than many.
I cannot say the same for Transporter 3. It does have a decent chase scene and two decent fight sequences that seem very very very coreographed. The plot is very very thin. The acting was never the best, but so many other slick elements and action and a half way decent plot twist here and there made up for what could have been a horrible movie...unfortunately in Transporter 3 all the elements that saved the Transporter series from basically being plotless trash disappeared, leaving us with cinematographic toxic waste, which is what i've concluded what they were transporting on those mysterious boats in the movie...the toxic waste was extra DVDs of this movie.
