Late '90s contender in the time-honored sweepstakes for teen idolatry, 'N Sync is best explained by the late blues sage Willie Dixon: "The men don't know, but the little girls understand." The quintet's buoyant dance pop, chopped and channeled to weld post-New Jack rhythms with creamy harmonies, won't qualify them for their own patent application, but musical originality isn't the point. "The official home video," 'N the Mix with 'N Sync, gives the Orlando, Florida group's mostly female, young teen constituency an unabashedly glowing portrait of Justin, JC, Lance, Joey, and Chris performing for their fans, musing over their musical kinship, and moving behind the scenes.

This 75-minute valentine will remind parents of venerable Tiger Beat profiles, right down to the bullet-point crib sheets on individual members listing full names, birth dates, and "likes" ("Hard Rock café menus" among the more perplexing choices). Versions of their first hits, "I Want You Back" and "Tearin' Up My Heart," videos for two subsequent tracks, plus sneak previews for two additional songs are interspersed with documentary footage, and there are plenty of quick-cut glimpses of their tightly choreographed, athletic dance routines, garbed in de rigeur sportswear and fashionable logos. Great For Any *NSYNC Fan!
2006-08-18 - *NSYNC ranks among my all-time favorite music groups. And this "N the Mix" movie is awesome! It's got some really great footage of the guys, plus some amazing music videos and exclusive interviews that you can hardly find anywhere else.

If you don't own a copy of this product, then what are you waiting for? Go out and get one! You won't be disappointed!

It's good to have this on DVD!
2006-03-17 - So I've heard that this DVD is getting hard to find in most stores. That being said, I was happy to know that this was available somewhere other than a retail store! I bought this mainly because I have been a long-time NSYNC fan and wanted their music videos on a format that wouldn't get ruined! Plus, I always thought their debut album was the best! So, it was nice to finally have this and cherish it! The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because I wasn't satisfied with the quality. It looks kinda grainy.

An awesome tape for *NSYNC fans
2003-02-08 - This tape includes interviews and music videos of these five talented guys, and is definitely a must have for any true *NSYNC fan. It not only includes the US versions of the music videos. It also includes videos for "Here We Go", "For the Girl Who Has Everything", and the European "I Want You Back" video, which shows how the guys have evolved over the years. I definitely would recommend this to anyone who loves *NSYNC as a must-have for your *NSYNC collection.

Interesting Look into the Lives of *NSYNC
2003-01-24 - *N the Mix is a good look into the lives of *NSYNC as they were making their way to the top of the music industry. It's obvious that the group was famous, but not that famous yet. People who don't know much about *NSYNC will learn how they formed, how they got their name, how they got the start, etc.

You are also treated to live performances as well as videos that were released here in the U.S. as well as Europe.

For die-hard *NSYNC fans, this is a must-have.

2002-10-30 - THis vid is so cool! IT shows some of the goofy parts of the group. I ove the videos on it and how each person has theri own little moment with the camera. Plus, JC is hilarious!
