2009-12-15 - hilariously funny, but you really need to understand the gambling world to get much of the humor.

2009-11-09 - This is one of my family's favorite. Whomever was technical adviser did an excellent job... if you go to a race track, you will see everything you saw in the move. Funny, brilliant and very entertaining.

2009-11-06 - I loved this movie from the first time I saw it. It makes you want to go to the track and try your luck.
Richard Dryfuess is at his best, he plays "Trotter", a cab driver with bills, an almost ex-wife (Terri Garr) with goofy friends that just needs a break and he finds it. You will notice alot of the stars in it, including Michelle Phillips from the Mama's and the Papa's and a VERY young Cynthia Nixon from Sex and the City.
Buy it, get some popcorn, and enjoy the laughs. Don't be surprised to find yourself checking your bank account and looking for the nearest track...."cause you might be walkin' around lucky, and never even know it".

2008-03-25 - All of us have felt like a born loser during times in our lives. Well folks, so does Richard Dreyfuss's character Trotter. He's a "loser" at the track. Always has been and always will be. Until that wonderful day, that "I'm having a Great Day" day.
Richard Dreyfuss, Terri Garr, David Johansen and of course Meg Tilley are just super.
