Brave (W/Dvd) (Dlx) Reviews:
Her Best Album! 5 Star Review
2008-01-30 - This album in my opinion is by far her best album. There are a lot of catchy songs on this. Her vocals on the song 'Brave' shows how she has really improved. The song 'Stay Together' is a song that definately should be released, it is very up-tempo song that is perfect for the clubs. And with the DVD you get to see the music videos for 'Hold You Down', 'Que Hiciste' and 'Me Haces Falta' that you can't get anywhere else.

Jlo does it again! 4 Star Review
2007-12-03 - This is a great CD/DVD combination. I like most of the songs & am happy she did put a DVD with it. Maybe she will release a DVD with all the video's at a later time. Probably only a few hits on this one though, not like her previous albums...

Brave 5 Star Review
2007-11-09 - I was pleasantly surprised when I received Jennifer Lopez's new Cd, Brave. As a bigger fan of her first two records, I enjoyed her others but not as much. Brave is the best music she's put out in years. I love so many of the tunes and have been listening to the whole CD constantly since it arrived. Must have for J-Lo fans.

Brave 3 Star Review
2007-11-07 - Jennifer still sounds good. The videos, especially the Latin numbers, were quite good. But it's a pity she's not composing any more. Like the title track very much.

At least it is better than 'Rebirth'.... 2 Star Review
2007-10-10 - I have been Jennifer Lopez fan since the begining of her musical career, and I really liked her first few albums except for 'This is Me..Then' and 'Rebirth'. I loved 'Como Ama Una Mujer' and I was hoping that 'Brave' would be good.

I really wanted to like this new Jlo album. Alas, I had to force myself to listen to the whole thing, and I could not wait for it to be over.

There are a couple of decent songs: 'Hold It Don't Drop It', 'Mile In These Shoes' and 'Do It Well' (the version with Ludacris). The rest of it is a mess - I just didn't get it. There is no 'theme' to this album - just a mish-mash of songs. 'Brave' is terribly weak - a stronger voice would have done the song some justice. 'Stay Together', 'Gotta Be There', 'Never Gonna Give Up' ' and 'The Way It Is' are bland and just don't fit Lopez' singing style. As for 'I Need Love' and 'Forever', they are just painful to listen to.

Perhaps if Marc Anthony had been more involved, there would have been some hope for this album. I will just put 'Mujer' back in my car stereo...
