  • Editorial Review:
He has 24 hours to save the world... again! In this dazzling sci-fi thriller, office employee Barry Thomas is caught in a "time bounce" caused by a glitch in the company's secret project. Now the same day occurs again and again - and Barry's the only one who can do anything about it, including saving the life of beautiful research assistant Lisa Fredericks. Perfect for fans of Groundhog Day and Back to the Future, this critically-acclaimed cult favorite is finally on DVD for the first time!

Dynamic cast: Jonathan Silverman (Weekend at Bernie's, TV's The Single Guy), Helen Slater (City Slickers, Ruthless People, Supergirl), Martin Landau (Academy Award winner for Ed Wood, TV's The X-Files, Space: 1999), Jeremy Piven (Golden Globe nominee for HBO's Entourage, Old School, Scary Movie 3, TV's Ellen) Directed by Jack Sholder (Alone in the Dark)

    12:01 Reviews:
One to watch, time and again 5 Star Review
2009-11-18 - Having watched 12:01 several times I have always found it a very enjoyable movie. Martin Landau and Helen Slater being cast helped it along as well. There's comedy, suspense, and a little non thinking mans scifi which makes for an excellent movie.

    Cheap Entertainment 4 Star Review
2009-07-28 - This movie has a good cast, good storyline, and keeps your attention.

It's only failure is the soundtrack. It detracts from the really great stuff the movie has to offer.

When the movie started the soundtrack made me think I had wasted my money on a low budget piece of garbage but I was pleasantly surprised.

I guess they ran out of money and couldn't afford a good soundtrack.

Go ahead and get the movie. It's worth it's modest price.

    P.S. I love Helen Slater.

    Excelent 5 Star Review
2009-06-20 - This movie was purchased for my mother. She and I watched it and I was blown away its a wonderful movie. Not to mention it came like two days after ordering it. She was so excited when she saw the package.

One of my favorites! 5 Star Review
2009-03-14 - I've always enjoyed Helen Slater. You may know her from 'The Secret of My Success'. This is a very enjoyable Sci-fi movie with touches of humor throughout. I had hunted for a copy of it in various retail stores with no success. I was very pleased to find it at Amazon.com.

I recommend this movie to anyone who enjoys sci-fi, comedy, and light romance.12:01

It's fun to watch -- over and over again! 4 Star Review
2009-01-16 - 12:01 is a movie not to be missed. It has all the elements of an exciting science fiction story, with enough comedy and romance to make it enjoyable for the entire family.

If the plot about a loop in time seems amazingly like Groundhog Day, you'll be even more amazed to know that this story came first -- published in the early 70's. 12:01, however, is a good deal heavier on the cloak-and-dagger atmosphere, with a little of The Office thrown in for good measure. The personnel manager is hatefully hysterical!

It's also fun to watch Martin Landau once again in a "Mission Impossible" kind of role.

    Love it!
