Now there's a new team in town - P.U.N.K.S. and they're taking on the biggest bullies in school with a secret energy weapon. Heads up evil-doers! p.u.n.k. 5 Star Review
2009-09-02 - this movie was great for kids age 10 and under my older grandkids said it was ok.

Four of these stars are for Jessica Alba, the other one is for the movie. 5 Star Review
2008-09-09 - Okay, so I bought this DVD for the sole purpose of completing my Jessica Alba movie collection. (Yeah, I know. She's only like sixteen in it, but so what? In some southern states that's considered legal.) And I guess I expected it to suck, but I honestly had no idea a movie could suck this bad. It features that ubiquitous fat red-headed dork that was in like every kid movie ever made in the 90's, and Henry Winkler in a role that forever erases the cool points he earned as the Fonz.

The story is so bad, the acting so horrible, that it's almost unwatchable. ALMOST. That's where Jessica Alba saves the day. She is so cute, and has the most incongruous, fake New York accent; I couldn't stop cracking up every time she talked. Her acting was so cheesy, it had an endearing quality to it that just won me over. I don't even remember the rest of the movie, but I guess if you've got some kids you could prop them up in front of the TV and they'd shut up for an hour-and-a-half. And there's no naughty parts so I suppose you could consider yourself a good parent for doing it.

Apropos "naughty", though: the scene where Jessica Alba is tied up with her dweeby pals is somehow more erotically stimulating than her bondage scene in her later movie "Paranoid", filmed when she was old enough to vote. (You can read my review of that crappy movie if you have lots of free time on your hands and get off on reading mean-spirited slams.)

In summation, BUY THIS MOVIE! Jessica Alba wears black spandex pants. 'Nuff said.

2006-02-01 - It took a long time to decide to buy this film despite being a long time Jessica Alba fan even she was not impressed with her work here. My daughter convinced me and thought it was a super film hence the rating. Miss Alba steals the show despite her accent which I think she should have avoided...but she was probably the most real actor in the show.

My children enjoyed the film and recommeneds.

I Luv this movie 5 Star Review
2005-08-18 - I loved this movie even as a child but i only rememeber bits and pieces of it and i couldn't remember the title and drove myself CRAZY trying to find it and finaly i did!!! i'm so happy!

P.U.N.K.S. is the best Disney Channel movie . 5 Star Review
2005-07-29 - This movie was the best ever. The young Jessica Alba is awesome. I love that New York accent. This is a story about a neglected son, whose dad is building a highly powerful robotic suit. However, he does not know he is building it for a villian (Randy Quaid). So his son gathers up a team of friends. And to know the rest of the movie you must buy it. :)
