Editorial Review:
TOS's THE GHOST OF CHRISTMAS EVE - now available for the first time on VHS and DVD - is a unique fantasy trip through the magic of Christmas. Narrated by award-winning actor Ossie Davis, the production takes us on a journey of a runaway little girl's decision to return to her family after she enters a rundown theater for shelter and encounters an old caretaker who guides her on her journey. This magical story - which features appearances from Atlantic recording artists Jewel and Michael Crawford - was filmed entirely on location at the newly refurbished and historic Loews Jersey Theatre in Jersey City, New Jersey, and includes performances of such tracks as "O Come All Ye Faithful," "Good King Joy," "Christmas Canon," "Music Box Blues," "Promises To Keep," and "This Christmas Day,".

Trans-Siberian Orchestra - The Ghost Of Christmas Eve Reviews:
Wonderful combination of classical & heavy metal!
2008-03-18 - We ordered this video after seeing TSO in concert around Christmas of '06. We now watch the video every holiday season & never tire of it. What a talented group of musicians!
What a wonderful story
2008-02-16 - The story is beautiful and the music throughout along with the artists are fantastic....everyone who sees is is amazed.....anything the Trans- Siberian Orchestra does amazes me.....they are one of a kind and my Christmas begins with their wonderful show....
Wow! Great music
2008-01-23 - I had seen TSO last Christmas and, since we couldn't make it to this year's concert, I bought this for my sisters and myself for Christmas. It's a wonderful way for us to "share" the concert experience. Ossie Davis was a terrific narrator and the music is wonderful. Crank it up and it was kind of like being there (without the laser light show, of course). I recommend this for anyone who likes Christmas music and rockin' orchestral music.
Artful story with excellent soundtrack
2008-01-21 - First off, you really can't go wrong with TSO. This is their classic Christmas story that weaves story with other visual elements and songs in a way that is nearly seamless.
TSO DVD
2008-01-20 - I once saw this movie on Christmas Eve on PBS and thought the music was great. Since that viewing I've become a fan of TSO and have seen them live (a must for the holidays) and collected their CDs.
This DVD is a perfect addition to anyone's holiday DVD collection. The story telling (with the late Ossie Davis) and the musical performances (TSO, Jewel & Michael Crawford) fill this story with the Christmas spirit.
My one issue is the lack of some of the band's more heavier & popular songs, but I believe it was produced prior to the later CDs.
All in all I recommend this DVD to all TSO fans and those who like good music and a touching Christmas story.
