Blue Wild Angel: Jimi Hendrix Live at the Isle of Wight (Tab) Reviews:
Jimi Live!
2008-09-17 - Genius guitar transcriber, Andy Aledort of Guitar World fame, transcribed this. He's also worked & toured with two of Hendrix's old bandmates, Billy Cox & Buddy Miles. So, he knows not just the notes Hendrix played, but the way & how he played them. Andy even included all of Jimi's song introductions, some of which are pretty funny!
Excellent in its accuracy, so much so, that you'll shake your head.
P.S. You can just choose to not play some notes; no one will ever know.
Excellent
2008-02-03 - This was Hendrix's last major concert. As one whom has follwed Hendrix's career, this is a must have. He was starting to change his style and get more of a jazzy-streched out feel to his music. A must have for any Hendrix fan.
Hendrix = Legend
2007-05-10 - Jimi hendrix's style I have to say is one of the most flexible and purest there is. He has different version's of his songs and "isle of wight" will show you what I'm talking about. If you compare "Red House" from woodstock to wight..the woodstock's version sounds more bright/happy than the wight. I think it also comes from his mood.
