Exciting transcriptions of the best Jimi Hendrix songs for violin and piano, both played by young virtuoso Alexandre Da Costa. He who knows his pop music history will agree that Paul McCartney played a major part in Jimi Hendrix's success in America in having him perform at the Monterey Pop Festival in 1967. The rest, as they say, is history. So it was natural to have Sir Paul's second classical composition, A LEAF, as part of this incredible recording. The programme is completed with one of Ysaye's Sonate pour violon seul.
