Knock Yourself Out 4 Star Review
2004-06-28 - This is pretty decent stuff. I would love to get my hands on some other material that Hendrix did with Curtis Knight. I used to own "Get The Feeling", and "Dreaming" on cassette. I know that there's a cd, or tape with the song "Suspicious" too. I used to own that, and it has a killer alternate version of "Room Full Of Mirrors". I would love to get my hands on a cd copy of his "Before London" album the most though. It has this killer surf music tune, and I can't remember what the name of it was. If anyone has information please email me at

Thanks,

PRetty good 4 Star Review
2002-12-01 - There are some good '60s soul tunes in here. I have the cassette of this that I bought maybe 10-12 years ago.
I enjoy listening to it.
"how would you feel" is really good thoughtful song and describes the civil rights movement of that era. Mind you, it is Curtis Knight who does most of the singing on this album, if not all. I was glad that I purchased this though.
IF you are expecting to hear Hendrix, don't bother. If you like '60's Motown stuff....mainstream with an underground tone.
