Fantastic Release!! 
2009-05-12 - I was very surprised when I first listened to the records of this box.
What Eddie Kramer and crew did is amazing! Most of the woodstock recordings are bad, noisy, rough, but this album is pure excitement (specially if you mind that it was recorder on 6 tracks).
If you close your eyes, it sounds as if the band is in front of you.
Plus, the booklet and the 7" inside are awesome.
Amazing Performance
2002-08-01 - Jimi Hendrix live at Woodstock was an incredible occurence, and all as I can say is I wish I was there NOW! From 'Hear My Train A Coming' to 'Star Spangled Banner', his power and majesty blast through his Marshall amps like the cry of the heavens. And if you look closely in the night sky, between the constellations of Taurus and Apollo , you can connect a string of bright blue stars to see a guitar, and a star-studded headband.
